Describe what is meant job design. b. Explain how a Project Manager uses information in their work breakdown (or project plan) as an input into designing/defining positions on the project team. You may prefer to choose a specific project role with which you are familiar and describe how the PM designs a position description for that role 3. For each of the learning and development approaches in the table below: a. List a phase of the project life cycle in which you could use this approach b. Explain why/how you will incorporate the learning and development activity during that phase of project life cycle. A skills analysis is an assessment of current skills of project members compared to the skill level required. List and describe two (2) methods for skills analysis. Exemplar: If the skill that is required relates to the use of a particular project management software, such as Microsoft Project, project team members could be asked to: 1. Complete a self-assessment survey that has been designed to evaluate their knowledge of MS Project’s functionality 2. Participate in a practical exercise, where they are asked to create a short project plan for a specific case study within a specific period of time. The results of both parts of the skills analysis will then be analysed to determine the current skill levels and identify any upskilling required
