The level of distance learning’s impact on teachers’ satisfaction and sense of commitment.

Following the Corona crisis, the education system as a whole was transferred to distance learning. This learning has many effects on the teaching staff on the one hand and the students in particular. This study seeks to examine the level of impact of distance learning on teachers’ satisfaction and sense of commitment
The study examines the responses of 130 teachers.
The questionnaire:
In the first part, mark your perception of each statement from 1 do not agree at all to 5 agree
very much.
The second part should be answered with reference to the distance learning period.
The third part should be answered with reference to the frontal learning period.

1. To what extent do the following conditions apply in your home for distance learning?
A suitable computer available for you to use for teaching purposes
Computer peripherals: microphone, headphones, camera, etc.
Stable and strong internet connection
Conditions in your home that allow for remote instruction, such as quiet and privacy
2. To what extent do you currently have the following tools and abilities in favor of optimal application of distance learning and learning?
Lesson plans and distance learning units
Digital pedagogical materials such as tutorials, digital books, electronic assignments, etc.
E-learning tools for managing learning in order to track attendance, track the submission of assignments, etc.
Your knowledge in operating e-learning systems for distance learning and learning
3. Tools for evaluating achievements during distance learning
Online teacher meetings with full-class students
Online teacher meetings with students in small groups or split classes
Students working on assignments in groups
Students working on assignments in personal work
4. To what extent were each of the following objectives achieved during the distance learning period?
Learning the subjects and skills according to age and as required by the curriculum
Advanced and meaningful learning of the students, for example through research papers, project-based learning, etc.
Promoting advanced learning skills such as teamwork, independent work, locating and analyzing information, etc.
Providing a differential academic response to different students
Addressing the social needs of students
Addressing students’ emotional needs
Addressing the professional and interpersonal needs of teachers by the school
5. To what extent does each of the following constitute a barrier to the success of distance learning and learning?
Students who do not have the means of ICT available to them
Students who do not have the appropriate environmental conditions for distance learning
Students who fail to persevere in distance learning and rarely participate
Lack of knowledge or tools in the teacher
Unsatisfactory response to technological difficulties and malfunctions among teachers
