Task:

When collaborating with the group, the student has actively participated in group work with a substantial contribution that can be assessed individually for all the requirements of this task.

What is this assessment task about?  You are a change management consultant. You have been engaged by XYZ Pty Ltd trading as JKL Industries to support the current change initiatives (please refer to Appendix 1). 
The CEO asked you to:

Develop processes to support workplace relationships
Assist with establishing an organisation that champions consultation and collaboration
Identify and resolve difficulties in workplace relationships
Develop strategies and systems to manage conflicts constructively
Support staff during the change process through guidance and counselling
Assist the organisation through the change process using leadership and management expertise 

This task focuses on establishing effective workplace processes.

Please note that the performance evidence for this unit requires students to:
Implement processes to manage ideas and information on at least two occasions
Develop and implement processes and systems to manage difficulties on at least two occasions

This assessment has been designed to meet those requirements.

This task comprises of the following assessment methods:
Product-based
Direct observation of Role-Play
Case Study
Other (specify)

It has been designed to evaluate your ability to/competency in:

Identify required processes for workplace collaboration according to organisational policies and procedures
Develop consultation processes for employees to contribute to issues related to their work role
Develop processes for conflict management
Develop processes for escalated issues or refer to relevant personnel
Delegate and confirm responsibilities for fulfilling work tasks
Collaborate and support team to perform work tasks
Identify and address issues in workplace relationships according to processes established
Seek feedback on management of workplace relationships from relevant stakeholders
Evaluate feedback for improvements to leadership style
Identify areas of improvement for future workplace relations leadership

Your assessor will be looking for demonstrated evidence of your competency in the above.

Task 2.1 Policy and processes development
Develop policies, processes and systems to support workplace relationships
Task 2.2 Consultation
Conduct consultation with relevant stakeholders

Although the assessment requires group collaboration to simulate a work environment, the assessment submission is individual, and it will be marked as such.
