“Drawing on chapter 13 of the textbook, write a 5-6 page (double spaced, 12 pt Times New Roman) paper on the Right to the City concept. You will engage the “right to the city” concept by examining an urban social movement that addresses a significant social issues/problem in a city.
What does your urban NGO or urban social movement tell us about the “right to the city”? Are they examples of reform or transformation? What social groups in the city benefit from the policy or are apart of the urban social movements? What are they trying to change and what structures of power must they confront to enact reform or transformation?
You must cite the textbook, at least 2 outside academic sources, and at least 1 outside non-academic/journalistic source. You can use any citation system (ASA, APA, MLA, or Chicago Style) and include a Works Cited section. ”
