Executive Summary :-
This Report comprises deep analysis of a business start-up proposal that is going to help the community by solving a major problem that is faced in everyday life. That problem is the availability of parking in the busiest cities. I have kept in view the requirements of the CDU in providing me the grant, hence I have compared the business plan with a few other important business plans such as availability of blazing fast internet in remote areas, and choose the best one out of them.
Reason for doing this project:-
One of the many major reasons for doing this project is self-motivation and the will to benefit the community with the fast era of technology which after implementation can improve the lives of people in different ways. The problem of parking is a daily issue for a common person visiting the city, which leads to frustration, parking at unauthorized places, and leads to stealing of the vehicle or damages to the car and heavy fines (Ibrahim, 2017). In order to avoid this problem and to make it more seamless and time saving I want to develop a detailed driver’s app that will cover this aspect as well as many other features (“Create a Parking Finder App: Expert Tips + Features + Top Apps”, 2021).
Listing business options:-
Based on the funding and criteria there are a few other business options to consider. Such as setting up more Mobile towers in the remote areas and rural parts where there are signal problems and no access to internet (infrastructureaustralia.gov,2021) so local communities can stay connected and take part in the centralized trade by promoting their local businesses online, and agricultural products can be sold, this will lead to the economic development and increase in the standard of living of the locals. Another option was to do fund raising and charity programmes through the power of social media advertisement (Stacey, 2017). Hold small IT events in underprivileged areas to help the people there understand the power of IT and utilise it to make their daily lives better such as providing them with Virtual reality headsets powered by solar, that upon activation, they can learn basic IT skills through the VR headset and view how the skills are applied by accessing a range of library for a course.
Project concepts:
Drive app is all in one drivers app that will provide the solution to the customers trying to find the right spot to park their cars in the midst of city during the busiest times. The users will be able to pay for their parking through the app. All the available spots will be real-time integrated with google maps and use our ultra-fast radars to scan the locations, hence the app will be fast to navigate without any buffering or lags.
a) Project Assumptions:
In this project it is assumed the following:
• The local Government will provide permission for the app to run and gain required information about the amount of buildings and their parking in the citiy. Also give more information of cars that have expired rego so they can be disconnected from the app automatically.
• The permission would be granted by different building owners and government to install radars in every 5km radius which is connected to the satellite in order to provide accurate and timely information.
• The fixed costs of the project will remain the same as planned
• Availability of the resources for the set up will be local and wont have supply issues
b) Project Constraints:
for this projects, there are a few constraints that need to be considered such as:
• The app will run on wifi and 4G hence the user will be required to be connected to the internet while using the app, which some users might not have or loose
connection hence the app will become unavailable to be used at that moment.
• Budget can be a little tight as the development of the app will require bunch of IT experts that will charge high amount of money.
• The minimum requirement of the smartphone hardware to run the app as not everyone has latest high tech mobile phone, but in order for the app to provide
the maximum information and provide fast information, it will require a decent minimum hardware that will lock some people out from using the app.
• Timeframe is a constraint as a lot of time is used to plan and developing the app in order for the user to be aware of it and start benefiting from it. (Fündeling and Trautmann, 2010)
