In your paper, you will be writing a legal brief on one of the following cases that has
recently wrestled with issues regarding evidence. This brief should be 6-8 pages double-spaced.
You may choose to write a brief for either side of the case. It should fulfill the traditional
expectations of a legal brief. In essence, you should first present the Issuewhat legal principle
is at stake in the case. You could think of this as the legal question the case poses. Then you
should present the Rule you will apply the details of your case to. You can think of this as the
answer to your question above. Both of these sections can be brief. Then you will conduct your
Analysis on the relevant cases and why the Court should rule as you suggest. And then finally
you should present a Conclusion summarizing your case. This is called the IRAC method, and
