You should be using our course materials: instead of running to some other secondary text, use our course texts (the things you’ve been reading for the last few months) to your advantage in explaining views and connecting things you say to the figures we’ve considered.
This paper is primarily about John Rawls’ view, and should be a critical evaluation of his view, drawn from our course materials (see handout) – as you answer this question, make sure that you are doing the following: (i) describing & explaining Rawls’ view, (ii) considering some sort of objection to Rawls view, preferably a single objection, as opposed to many that are mentioned but not seriously explored, and (iii) imagining/explaining how Rawls would respond to this criticism. [It’s very important for this topic that you look seriously at that first essay from Rawls, the first selection from A Theory of Justice.]
