Learning Goal: I’m working on a psychology discussion question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
What is it that you plan to do with your one precious life? Are you living it passionately? Isabel Allende describes what she has lost and gained with age, as well as how she is training to live passionately.
Watch these Ted talks:
https://www.ted.com/talks/isabelle_allende_how_to_live_passionately_no_matter_your_age#t-385832
https://www.ted.com/talks/steve_jobs_how_to_live_before_you_die
then read chapter 12 (and go back and look at chapter 9) in your textbook. Do some outside research and respond to the following:
What are you doing to “train” for a passionately lived life?
What are some of your life dots? Give at least one specific example.
How have those life dots led you to your current life?
How do those life dots come together to form a plan for your future?
What should that mean for how you approach life moving forward?
Remember:
– You must (1) post your own response to this discussion question/prompt and (2) reply to a classmate’s post.
– Be sure to thoroughly answer all parts of the discussion question.
Your posts and responses should be informed by your readings. You need to cite the text and include outside research in your posts to receive full credit. In other words, please create thoughtful answers for your original post and your replies. Your original post should be, at a minimum, 200 words/ 1 page and your response to a classmate should be at least 50 words half a page.
