I have a discussion question for my English class and I need some help answering two of the questions. It is on the story trifles which I have linked below. It is just a 1 paragraph explanation I need per each question. Please do not use any outside sources.
In one paragraph, explain the significance of the setting, the language, OR the characters to the plot of the play. Do not cover all 3 areas (setting, language, and characters) but discuss which ONE of those elements that you think is most significant in understanding the plot and make sure to use terminology specific to drama vs fiction.
After your initial analysis of Trifles in the question above, what do you think is the theme or message of this play? Does knowing this “story” is based on a real-life event influence what you think about this play?
