AL cannot control his worrying, which causes difficulty falling asleep, impatience with others, difficulty focusing at work, and significant back and muscle tension.
Objection
AL was well composed during the assessment and answered all questions appropriately. His thought content and perception were typical. Still, he appeared worried about strange things.
Plan
The patient was diagnosed with panic attacks and generalized anxiety disorder. The therapist prescribed Paxil 10 mg daily to manage panic attacks and Prozac 20 mg to manage generalized anxiety disorder. Besides, the therapist suggested that AL should practice relaxation techniques so that he can easily combat fear and panic attacks.
