This assignment focuses on how the evolution of management and leadership theory contribute to
modern administrative and organizational theory and practice. You will utilize current directional
strategies to begin to develop your own personal administrative framework concept map. This
assignment will include a summary of your findings and a description of one’s individual perspective
on the leadership and management theory in consideration of your current role.
For this assignment address and complete the following:
• Develop an initial administrative framework utilizing your current job description and the
information covered in Units 1 and 2 (Submit this by the date indicated.)
• Incorporating (as assigned) the various management and leadership theories, develop a concept
map of your personal administrative framework.
• Indicate the dominant theory as well as influences from other theories.
• Considering your current understanding, identify the strengths of your framework.
• Considering your current understanding, identify the limitations or weaknesses of your
framework.
• You may utilize any of the various available programs or applications (PowerPoint, Word, Prezi,
etc.) to create your concept map. However, be sure that the program used is accessible for the
rest of the class and faculty.(Note: | typically use PowerPoint)
• The complete framework should be a minimum of 2-4 slides (or contain an equivalent amount of
content if another program is used).
• Be sure to validate your opinions and ideas with citations and references in APA format.
