Assessment 1: Nutrient Fact Sheet Weighting:
Word count: 1000 words per fact sheet – maximum of two A4 pages plus 1000 words for a critical discussion.
Instructions: Students will be required to create a fact sheet for either ONE mineral OR ONE of the Vitamins listed below.
Only one reference list for the assessment (fact sheet and commentary combined) is required. Vitamins: A, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12 C, D, E, K, and biotin
Minerals: Calcium, chromium, copper, iodine, iron, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, sodium, and zinc.
