For each week’s readings, you will write a 2-page reaction that demonstrates your understanding of and critical reflections about the content of the readings. Reactions should be an analysis, NOT merely summaries of the readings.The goals of the reactions/analysis are:
Briefly summarize the argument(s) of the readings; and
Respond intellectually to these arguments.
The first paragraph should summarize the main points and arguments from that week’s readings. The rest of the reaction should address connections among the readings, what might be missing from the authors’ arguments/points, connections to previous course content, and what insights you gained from the readings.
