The one that I picking to have a deeper conversation with is a proposed attitude towards ownership and possession that proposes a healthy relationship. I agree with this Franciscan Intellectual Tradition because during my time in high school I was wrestling, and I loved it so much until my senior. I went through depression and my coaches didn’t understand. I felt like I was all alone, and I was the type of person who would help people, but when it was my turn to have help, nobody was there for me. During that time, I lost a lot of people, and I was friends with a girl who didn’t have as much as me and she was having problems with her family. I had two choices either continue to wrestle even if I didn’t like it or help this girl through her problems and maybe we could help each other. In the end, I chose to help the girl, like I said before I love people and when they are in trouble or need someone to talk to, I always want to be there for them. My coaches didn’t like that and would say stuff about me and say it to my fellow teammates. They said that I changed and that I wasn’t myself anymore, but I was trying to find myself, and I was so confused about life, and I was trying to help the girl. Things happen strangely, but one night I was staying with this girl, and I found out she was cutting herself because she was depressed. I told her that everything was going to be fine and after that, I got her some help, and she hasn’t cut herself since and we became best friends after that. Both Francis and Clare gave up a comfortable life so that they could help guide people and they both found dignity in each person that they meant not in how they lived. Everything from God is a gift, every opportunity that you get is a door opening from God. I will live on and tell my story and maybe people will realize that it doesn’t matter what you are going through, but just like Clare and Francis, you can save a life.
