Did you find evidence for any of the “myths and realities” described by Donnermeyer and DeKeseredy? How about the ideas and concepts from Weisheit and Brownstein’s “Drug Production in the Rural Context” (including, but not limited to Weisheit’s typology of marijuana growers) or Shukla’s Methamphetamine: A Love Story?
How does the story presented in Dopesick support Griffin and Miller’s thesis on Rethinking State-Corporate Crime? How does it refute it, or provide evidence for alternative perspectives and/or interpretations?
