Synthesize what we have covered this semester related to rural crime and drugs i

Synthesize what we have covered this semester related to rural crime and drugs in an essay. You should write no fewer than 5 (double-spaced) pages and no more than 8.
You should, at minimum, address the following:
In what ways did the series Dopesick provide evidence of, support for, or counters to the perspectives related to defining crime presented by Lanier, Henry, and Anastasia in their chapter “What is Crime?” How might Lanier and Henry’s “crime prism” be applied to the story of the opioid epidemic presented by Dopesick?
Did you find evidence for any of the “myths and realities” described by Donnermeyer and DeKeseredy? How about the ideas and concepts from Weisheit and Brownstein’s “Drug Production in the Rural Context” (including, but not limited to Weisheit’s typology of marijuana growers) or Shukla’s Methamphetamine: A Love Story?
How does the story presented in Dopesick support Griffin and Miller’s thesis on Rethinking State-Corporate Crime? How does it refute it, or provide evidence for alternative perspectives and/or interpretations?
Comment on how Dopesick compares to the other films we’ve viewed in class, Oxyana and The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.
