1. No fancy headings; just your name, class, and assignment on a single line, as follows: If your name is Gayle Beebe
and you are submitting Executive Summary 1, it should be titled GBeebeEB191ES1of11. If it is week 7, it would be
titled GBeebeEB191ES7of11. This allows me to quickly organize and identify all papers in case you have a question on
any topic;
2. Your paper should be attached in a Word document (normal margins and 12-point Cambria or similar font). The paper should be saved under the same heading as above;
3. Each ES should have three sections: (i) Overview, (ii) Synthesis, and (iii) Key Takeaways, as follows:
i.) the Overview should be roughly ¼ of the page and provide an overview of all of the readings;
ii.) the Synthesis should be roughly ½- 2/3rds of the page and should be your attempt to tie the readings
together, including the biblical references; and
iii.) the Key Takeaways should be less than or equal to ¼ of the page and provide reflection on what you have
learned. This is the only section where you should ever use a personal pronoun.
