AN OUTLINE FOR) India’s Kathakali Theatre
Deliver a class on a 3-minute Speech/Demonstration advocating for your theatre project, of your choice.
1. Introduction – connect the topic of your research and heart of your advocacy concerning your topic of research to your life and the lives of your audience
· Attention-getter
· Thesis
· Preview
2. Body – consider including information that was unable to be included in the brochure
· Use a clear organizational pattern
o Topical
o Chronological
· Include a minimum of two visual and/or audio artifacts
o Scale model
o Collage
o Photos
o, Include complete works cited slide/page of all sources (a minimum of 3 sources for the content in your brochure and 2 sources for your visual or audio materials).
o Drawings
o Video (4 min max IN ADDITION to 3 min)
· Conclusion
o Restate Thesis
o Brief Summary
o Suggest topic(s) for further study
o DO NOT CLOSE WITH “THAT’S IT.”
