Product description:
A network of sensors, locks, biometric devices and facility management software that work in tandem with one another to create a modified Control system in order to ensure the safety of the facility staff, confines and local population in a highly modular fashion.
The solution will be as non-invasive of the confine’s privacy as possible while they are in their room or cabin during quarantine while also allowing for the general location of the confine to be monitored using RTLS techniques. This can be done with Active or passive RFID depending on the size and design of the facility.
A medical bracelet that will track biometric data related to covid (such as body temperature) would also allow for an RTLS system to work effectively by pinging the room that the confine is in without giving the exact location and orientation of the person quarantining.
The system will maintain low transmissibility outside by managing airflow via open doors, monitor people’s movement via RFID checkpoint systems and provide a total overview of all peoples within quarantine via a single management application.
Market need:
Studies looking at mental health in confinement, investigate the pressure flow incident with hotel quarantine (something our system would prevent)
Existing products:
Systems/Products that control doors have been commonplace for some time, being used in Hotels, Hospitals and Offices, however they are noticeably non-present in the market with only independent sellers and small security firms developing and selling individual products. Due to this the following product analysis will be for independent products / small companies and not implementation from a large company.
