At one point of time, longtime ago 😊, I worked on designing an evaluation for a school health program that worked on improving nutritional health among school children in Ramallah governorate.  For project evaluation purposes, I designed and implemented two surveys to assess students knowledge, attitudes an practices (KAP) towards healthy foods.

The attached survey data represents the results of two surveys conducted on school students (3rd, 7th and 10th grades) over two rounds (pre-intervention round and post-intervention round).  The intervention was a project implemented by school health institute within the ministry of education to improve nutritional health  among school kids. As a result, a Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) study was conducted on a sample of school children.  The first round was conducted among school kids before the project started and this round is called baseline survey (pre-intervention).  Another round of the survey was conducted post-intervention on another sample of kids within the same grades. The project targeted school students in Jerusalem governorate.   A large scale campaign was implemented among school kids within Ramallah governorate schools for almost a year after the baseline survey was conducted.  Some of the project activities were training workshops to teachers on nutritional health, student’s activities to educate them about nutritional health among other information dissemination activities.
