Andrew is a 16-year-old male brought to the unit after running away from home and having truancy issues. He lives with his mother, step-father, and two younger sisters. The mother reports that Andrew started acting out about a year ago and has gotten more violent and unpredictable over the last six months. He is quiet with no eye contact. He is slouched in the chair and his hat is covering most of his face. If he talks at all, it is to give one-word answers. He is up all night and arguing with his sisters and his mother. His clothes are hanging on him loosely as well. The mother is very concerned as Andrew has stated several times over the last few days that he wishes he were dead.
