Psychology Of Older Adults
PSYC 3338 Psychology of Older Adults The course introduces students to research on the life span, bio-psychosocial stages of life over the age of 55, and older adulthood stages. The course teaches students to create assessment plans for older adults with psychological or interpersonal problems, memory complaints, and depressive symptoms. In the course students will study relevant research findings and theories related to specific topics in neuropsychology and psychology of older adults. This course will teach students to create strengths-based treatment plans for older adults facing complex interpersonal, cognitive, and psychological challenges.
