Task description:
In this assessment, you will pull together all of the learnings from this unit to develop a knowledge translation project plan.
What you need to do:
Implementing evidence into practice is a complex undertaking that requires careful planning. In this assessment, you will develop a KT project plan to close your identified evidence-practice gap. A project plan is an operational document that sets out a goal and describes the information, tasks, and resources necessary to achieve that goal.
Your plan should provide the reader with the following type of information:
- What is the evidence gap you identified?
- What is the proposed practice change?
- How will you plan and organise the change?
- How will you engage stakeholders and knowledge users?
- What is your organisation`s readiness to change?
- How will the knowledge be adapted to the local context?
- What are the potential barriers, and how might you mitigate them?
- What implementation interventions are appropriate?
- How will you test, adapt, and spread the practice change?
- How will you monitor the impact?
- How will you ensure sustainability and dissemination of findings?
- Executive summaries from the project plan will be available on Canvas for students to view after marking.
