ABSTRACT
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a crucial role in the Singapore economy. This study investigates the impact of quality management practices on the operational performance of SMEs in Singapore. This research explores the potential opportunities to maintain a competitive advantage and requires a focus on operational performance. This research explores the interrelation between quality management and operational performance that is relevant to Singaporean SMEs.
The methodology can include literature review, conduct a survey to Singapore working adults in different backgrounds to analyse the finding. This study aims to demonstrate a positive correlation between robust quality management systems and improved operational performance in Singapore SMEs, such as work efficiency, production quality, and on-time delivery rates, enhanced customer satisfaction, and ultimately, greater profitability.
This research aims to contribute valuable awareness for Singapore SMEs by highlighting the potential benefits of implementing quality management practices. By utilising the findings, SMEs can prepare for the transformation of Industry 4.0 and achieve long-term success and competitiveness.
